Why Sliding Windows?
Sliding windows are sometimes referred to as gliding windows, as the dual sashes allow for the window to move in either direction. They can also be easily lifted out, making cleaning a breeze.
Sliding windows are larger than your typical windows, so these are best used for areas where you are looking to fill a large space. They can be great in the back of your home so that you can better view your backyard right from the comfort of your home. If you are interested in learning more about installing new sliding windows or are looking to replace your existing windows, let us know. Our window installation services are available in Raleigh, Durham, and Burlington, NC.
Features & Models
Sliding windows come in two-lite or three-lite slider models. Two-lite sliders features two window sections with sashes of equal size. With three-lite sliders, there are three sections. The middle section is fixed, while the sections to the left and right slide.
As with other replacement windows from The Window Source of Raleigh, our sliding windows meet EnergyStar requirements (LowE/Argon).
